Description

The ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators™ Coaching Program supports and enriches coaches’ knowledge of and capacity to integrate the ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler EducatorsTM into their direct practice with early childhood educators and program leaders. ZERO TO THREE Expert Faculty will guide a cohort of up to 35 coaches (or other TA providers, or program leaders responsible for coaching) through a five-part program which equips them with strategies and resources to help their coachees reflect on, practice, and advance the Critical Competencies.

The program includes five components:
1. Cohort introductory web meeting
2. ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators™ Online Course (13 modules)
3. ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies for Infant-Toddler Educators™ Regional Institute: 2-Day Training for Coaches
4. Cohort wrap-up web meeting
5. Additional coaching support (Faculty virtual office hours and online coaches and adult educator communities)

The Critical Competencies coaching e-resources include:
• Summaries of Core Concepts covered in each of the Critical Competencies thirteen Sub‐Areas.
• Audio and Video Files to set the stage for activities, discussions and other learning activities. Files include child observations, teacher-child interactions, educators sharing reflections on their practice, national experts discussing key concepts, and more.
• PowerPoint slides that introduce and offer a visually beautiful and engaging frame for reflection opportunities. The slide notes sections present relevant references to the Critical Competencies eBook.
